Angels Demons & the Supernatural

We forget that we're not battling against flesh and blood alone. We Christians live as though the supernatural doesnt' exist as if we don't have an enemy. I heard Erwin Lutzer, a pastor at Moody Church in Chicago say, " Imagine if you were in a war and didn't know it . . . you'd be in trouble right?" Right. We are oppressed sometimes by the evil one and his minions. God tells us to be vigilant lest we be devoured by our enemy who has come to steal kill and destroy. Lets not forget that.

Hi Marlena!

How are you and Shawn and Iliana doing? Are you staying in Ohio for the summer or traveling?

I really like this post. I couldn't agree more with what you say. It's been on my mind so much that I wrote a church-life newsletter article on it.
It just occurred to me at some point that no one at RCRC, ever, ever, prays about spiritual warfare. What a dire mistake!

I would love to hear how you all are doing these days. Susan and Sam and I are busy but well. Sam's well and thoroughly into the "terrible twos", but is still a lot of fun. :-)

take care,
Tim
